X Slant Design
The CSI was developed by combining a thin, large diameter aluminum frame with a beautiful carbon rear triangle.
A utility bike praised by riders for its performance and sharpness due to its super-light body and specifications. The frame design shares a common design code, which is the "Slant Design" which uses the two narrow, slanting tubes that enclose the top tube. The silhouette of the impressive frame design lies not only in the design but also in the unique Minivelo frame, which helps increase the strength of the entire frame as well as the rigidity around the long head tube. The high torsional rigidity due to the slant effect and the low center of gravity due to the geometry, as well as the use of the strongest yet lightweight #7005 aluminum alloy combined with a carbon rear triangle, provide an explosive acceleration feel and sharp handling that road bikes cannot offer. The CSI is compatible with the Shimano Di2 electronic drivetrain. Its smooth, beautiful welding and attention to detail is the perfect bike for those looking for real fun.
Characteristics
The main frame is made of 7005 aluminum and a full carbon rear triangle, resulting in a light, vibration-damped and powerful mini bike.
Key Features
- Lightweight hybrid frame made of 7005 aluminum and carbon rear triangle
- The frame design is suitable for all road drives
- Craftsmanship in detailed weld finish and top with Kadowaki powder coating
- Ideal frame for low weight and high rigidity
- Uniquely shaped down tube to increase rigidity
- Full carbon monocoque fork that promises lightness and riding comfort
- Powerful AM3 wheels with sealed bearing hub
- Di2 ready with internal cabling
- Low center of gravity and long wheelbase for stable handling
Di2 compatible
An attachment is used to house the battery and wiring within the frame when an electronic transmission component is used. Both mechanical and electrical components are available.
The lightweight full carbon fork, which is made of carbon right up to the column, contributes significantly to the smooth running.
Smooth welding with inconspicuous weld beads is further polished by hand to achieve a smooth and beautiful frame silhouette.
Equipped with high-performance wheels “AM-6 451” that combine wide rims with Tyrell hubs having high rotational performance. Even with low air pressure, wide rims offer low rolling resistance and a firm feeling in corners.
Tyrell's unique frame design “Slant Design Technology”.
A framework that achieves both ride comfort and high performance by exhibiting high rigidity in the horizontal and torsional directions, but not excessively high rigidity in the vertical direction, by forming a number of triangles.
